The quants section of Greenlight test prep is just superb. It details each and every concept along with the trick question that ETS uses as a trap. And the most useful thing in the course is the videos are divided into parts and the videos are not long, the are short, which helps you to watch the videos quickly in a short span of time and does not waiver your attention span and after every video tutorial it has questions of varying difficulty. Also, the course work is best for those who do not have much/no knowledge about quants, it helps to strengthen your base.
For verbal, the course a bit more basic, but helps to develop skills required to start solving verbal questions with care and after finding the clues. Developing this basic skill helped me to improve 13 points on verbal from 143 to 156.

It had been more than 3 years since I wrote a competitive exam. Having scored only 312 (Q163, V149) in the first attempt, I was quite afraid of writing the exam again. I was quite confident about improving my quantitative score, but needed practice to avoid making silly mistakes here and there. Also being a non-native English speaker, getting a decent score in the verbal section was very daunting for me. But all thanks to Greenlight Test Prep and Mr. Brent Hanneson, I managed to get a score of 330 this time (Q168, V162). I joined the course in mid-July, four months before the test date. I feel the course is very comprehensive and well structured. The videos are really well explained and the collection of questions covers everything that could be asked in the actual GRE. I feel lucky to have come across such a preparation course for my GRE and I am extremely thankful to Mr. Brent Hanneson, a great tutor and an amazing human being.
I gave myself 2 months to study for the GREs after endlessly procrastinating. The first month I focused on my verbal and improved that on my own, however I had failed to improve my math score. By the end of that month I realized I needed a video course. I always struggled with Math and found Greenlight's short how to videos and review questions to be insightful and an efficient use of my time.
I targeted my geometry, data interpretation, and algebra weaknesses and scored a 154 in quant. That was a 6 pt increase from where I started. I briefly went over some verbal videos however I found studying vocabulary and doing your own practice problems to be more helpful than watching a video on that.
If I had given myself more time to study and used all the resources greenlight offered I conceivably could have done better. Total score was 154/164 = 318 which was just enough to get me into my PhD program of choice.
$60 was absolutely worth it.
Thanks Brent!
The Greenlighttestprep platform is a simple yet comprehensive way of getting to know the exam and understanding how the test makers are going to test you or rather try to make sure that you know your stuff and are adept at recognizing tricky questions. The key is to go by the concept. Remember the mantra, understand, practice and improve on the weaklings.
Despite the fact that you might know all the math formulae and have a deep understanding of the concepts as well as you are well versed with the vocabulary, the most important thing for the exam is practice and time management. My experience with this platform has been an amazing one, I really understood what the author wanted me to get at while I was using techniques provided in these videos. Making notes has really helped me out to a great extent. It saved a lot of my time in the exam.
My first attempt was not that successful due to lack of practice and improper time management, however, the next time, owing to the practice and help from the platform I really nailed it and got a 323!
Thanks a lot for helping me out through this!
